About Me
It all started when…
I went to Emerson College in Boston, MA to receive a BA in Theatre Studies with a minor in Arts Management. I began interning and later working for Carolyn Pickman of CP Casting (Spotlight, Manchester By The Sea, The Departed, Mystic River) during which time I assisted in the casting of Ben Affleck’s directorial debut Gone, Baby, Gone. I even got a small cameo in the film standing next to Ed Harris during a funeral scene. It was neat.
After graduation I moved to Los Angeles and started working at Sony in their television casting department, which included the development of AMC’s Breaking Bad. Watching Anna Gunn audition for the role of Skyler White alongside Bryan Cranston in a small theater on the studio lot is something I will remember for the rest of my life.
From 2016 until January of 2020 I assisted Emmy award-winning casting director Danielle Eskinazi, CCDA. During that time I began to notice a shift in the industry- the way people were watching media changed, the way media was being produced started to change, and it wasn’t long before casting was being substantially effected. Budgets shrank and casting was breaking away from traditional sessions in favor of “Real People” casting, self-tapes, and leveraging social media to find talent. I had to teach myself new skills in the process including email marketing, CRM software, and prospecting leads for the business.
This lean-and-mean approach to casting ultimately led me to my next position as Business Development Manager at Casting Frontier, a platform that streamlines the process for Casting Directors, Talent Representatives, and Talent alike. I was hired in January of 2020… I think we all know where this is going.
When Covid hit, what had been emerging as a trend in casting exploded into the industry standard. Almost overnight everyone went from in-person castings to using self-tapes and Zoom sessions to find talent, and the platforms had to drastically alter their workflows to keep up. In the spring of 2020 it was announced that Casting Frontier was to be acquired by our competitor Casting Networks, to be part of the greater parent company Talent Systems. For the next four years I stayed on as the Enterprise Sales Manager of Western North America.
I converted thousands of leads, generated millions of dollars in ARR, and had the opportunity to work with some of the most passionate and talented people I have ever met. During my time at Talent Systems however, I noticed another shift– I saw once again how technology was affecting the business. AI was creating 30 second commercial scripts, the gaming industry was beginning to develop advanced augmented realities, and content distribution via social media platforms like TikTok was being democratized. I realized the entertainment industry as I had known it in my early twenties was no longer there. It was time to pivot.
As I looked ahead, it became clear to me that my next step needed to be deeper into the tech world. I want to take my expertise in Sales and B2B SaaS and apply it to the cutting-edge field of AI. Whether it’s helping businesses leverage AI tools or driving solutions that redefine industries, I’m excited to be part of the technological shift that’s shaping the future. I’m ready to bring my passion for innovation into a space that’s pushing boundaries and transforming possibilities.
I love entertainment. I love tech.
I would love to work with you.
